Workhorse Staffing is seeking an experienced Fabricator or Vehicle Body Builder to join a well established manufacturing business known for delivering high quality engineered products and custom builds.

About the role
You will be responsible for fabrication, welding and modification work on structural assemblies and equipment builds, ensuring all work meets strict quality and safety standards. This role suits a skilled tradesperson who enjoys hands on fabrication work and takes pride in producing high quality finished products.

Key responsibilities

• Fabrication and welding of structural components and assemblies
• Modifying and adjusting fabricated structures to meet specifications
• MIG welding on structural steel components
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Fitting and assembling fabricated components
• Installing brackets, mounts, guards and structural supports
• Working with mechanical components and fabricated assemblies
• Structural repair and reinforcement work where required
• Maintaining high quality standards and safe work practices

Skills and experience

• Trade qualified Fabricator, Boilermaker or Vehicle Body Builder
• Strong MIG welding experience on structural steel
• Experience working in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
• Experience with structural alignment and fabrication adjustments
• Strong workshop skills using fabrication tools and equipment
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
